The history of Thürlings Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH (founded in May 1990) goes back to the year 1959, when Fritz Thürlings founded Maschinenfabrik Fritz Thürlings in Viersen for manufacture of counting machines.
The company’s product range was expanded to include packaging machines in 1965. These new machines were designed to open pre-made bags, present them for manual or automated filling followed by bag closure utilizing several closure methods including Clips, Twist Tie and Heat Seal. In addition to a various number of other bag closing devices, our Company developed the bottom bag making process direct from roll stock in 1997.
Innovation, teamwork and customer orientation have been the three principals that have led to the success of our company and the success of our customers. The same three pillars will continue to be fundamental to our success and the success of our customers in the future.
